STAKEHOLDER IMPACT ANALYSIS (HOW TO IMPROVE RELATIONSHIPS) // There are many stakeholder mapping techniques for stakeholder management. This video will help you understand stakeholder impact that will improve how you’re influencing others at work.
I’ll include a stakeholder analysis example during the stakeholder mapping process to help you create a stakeholder analysis map to improve stakeholder engagement. Using stakeholder analysis tools, and carrying out a stakeholder assessment will help you create a stakeholder engagement strategy/stakeholder management strategy. A stakeholder engagement plan/stakeholder management plan makes stakeholder relationship management much easier.
If you’ve not yet completed a STAKEHOLDER MAP... pause and go back and do PART 1 ‘Stakeholder mapping techniques' video first.
The way you build your map and circle of influence wider is by answering ‘What is the relationship between all these people’?
Each of the people you’ve drawn onto your stakeholder map has their own stakeholder map too!
Sometimes you’ll get what I like to call ‘slow to warm up’ people. We all have these people. The ones who are difficult, the ones who don’t get your awesome jokes, even the ones who’ve seen some of your mistakes. These people are not lost causes. Yes, it’s going to take more time, but one of the best ways to get to them is not by doing a song and a dance for them yourself, but involving other people in one of two ways or what I call ‘Stealth Influence’.
I'll tell you more about Stealth Influence and more in this week's video about Stakeholder Impact Analysis.
Don't forget to tell me what you think in the comments on YouTube.
